A New Way To Feed the Family

Since opening our doors in 2012 Gabby's has brought Oklahoma City its own interpretation of Krebs Italian. Today we're bringing another piece of home to our city with the rollout of our new family style dining menu. Perfect for parties or just large groups that want to eat Italian the way nonna intended, this experience will exist alongside the Gabby's menu you know and love.

The family style menu is designed to feed parties of 4 and will offer some of our favorite dishes.

Bruchetta: Fresh tomatoes, hand shredded Parmesan, garlic, and basil tossed in olive oil and red wine vinegar. Served with grilled toast points.

The Krebs Classic - Italian done the way Minnie and Dominic intended. Spaghetti, meatballs, and ravioli. Served with garlic bread.

Chicken Parmigiana - Brick oven fired chicken parmigiana served over a bed of red spaghetti. Served with garlic bread.

Chicken Pomodoro - fire roasted tomatoes, fresh basil, green onion, garlic, and red pepper tossed with linguini and brick oven roasted chicken. Served with garlic bread.

Gnocchi and Sausage - our house made gnocchi and Italian sausage served with red sauce. Served with garlic bread.

Pizza Trio - Any three pizzas from our menu.

Goodbye, Papa

 

Tonight we said goodbye to our grandfather - chef Vicki’s father - Don Robertson. He was a loving father, a doting grandfather, a patient husband, and a remarkable man. He had an easy, infectious laugh, an immutable work ethic, and a capacity for kindness that was humbling to behold. He taught us that the world can be hard enough without our help, and that we should be kind where we could, seize laughter and joy with every opportunity, and be grateful for every day we are given.  He showed us that hard work, love and dedication to family, and appreciating the blessings given are the building blocks to a happy and contented life. There will never be another one like him; he will be sorely missed.

Gabriella's will be closed for the remainder of the week as we mourn the passing of this remarkable man. Please keep us in your prayers in this time of hardship.

Wine Dinner on April 13th featuring Rock Wall Winery!

Next Wednesday, April 13th, Gabby's and Rock Wall Winery will join forces for a night of eats, drinks, and merriment. Each course will be paired with one of Rock Wall's fine wines.

1st Course: Nonna Rose White Pie: Ricotta, Fontina, mozzarella, Parmesan, and Romano cheese, Brussels Sprouts fired in our Brick Oven, and fresh garlic. Topped with smoked pancetta.

2nd Course: Gabriella's House Salad: Gabriella's traditional Italian salad with romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and pepperoncini peppers. Tossed in our house Italian dressing.

3rd Course: House made gnocchi with tomato sauce.

4th Course: Italian Pork and Beans: A tender cut of pork tenderloin grilled and served over a rich Cannellini bean stew.

5th course: Rosemary pound cake with pistachio gelato. Served with a craft Prosecco Cocktail.

Gabriella's and Nebraska Brewing Co. Team Up for Beer Dinner

Next Thursday, February 4th, Gabby's and Nebraska Brewing Company will join forces for a night of fine food and finer beer.

1st Course: Gabby's House Salad. Paired with Cardinal Pale Ale.

2nd Course: Italian sausage and lentil soup. Paired with Brunette Nut Brown Ale.

3rd Course: Beer braised hen with "spoonbread" garlic and sage polenta. Paired with chardonnay barrel aged Melange A` Trois Reserve Belgian Style Ale.

4th Course: Tiramisu shots. Served with whiskey barrel aged Fathead Barley Wine.

Scary Fun on Halloween Night!

Let's talk about the holiday season. It's long been the American tradition to kick off the Holidays the day after Thanksgiving. We drag ourselves out of the house before sunrise, the weight of a turkey hangover clouding our minds (and stomachs) in the hopes we can lead the charge as we raid department stores and malls like a Viking horde hungry for loot. There are all sorts of valid (sometimes cynical) observations about how we kick off a season of giving with gross displays of consumerism. Don't worry, this isn't one of those talks. 


For our family, the Holidays are a time of make believe and magic that has always began at the end of September as we dressed our home in spooky decorations and began planning costumes for a night of tricks and treats. We were into it so much that we put on a little haunted house production every year for those brave enough to ring our doorbells. To sum up: Halloween is a big deal to us. And we want to encourage you, our extended family, to celebrate the season a little early with a couple of events on Halloween night. We're even going to give something to some of you that are the most enthusiastic and creative. No reason the season can't be about make believe, magic, AND giving. Read on for details. How it will work:

Our hospitality manager will take your photo and information. The family will pick our favorites from among the entries and contact the winners the following Tuesday, November 3rd. We can't wait to see your costumes!


Krebs Klassic Family Style Wine Dinner

On October 31st we're hosting a wine dinner in the vein of Krebs' classic family style dining. Diners will enjoy a 5 course meal:

  • 1st course: Burrata cheese ball appetizer
  • 2nd course: House salad
  • 3rd course: Spaghetti, ravioli, and meatball
  • 4th course: Fried chicken, steak, lamb fries, and Italian Sausage
  • 5th course: Tiramisu

Prices for this feast are:

  • $50 per single
  • $90 per couple

Dinner starts at 6:30 and seats are available. Call and speak to a manager to reserve your seat at the table.
